Published at 16:04, Wednesday, 03 July 2013
Parking spaces in the centre of Penrith will be off limits for two weeks.
Cumbria County Council has applied for an order that will prohibit motorists from parking at Corney Place to allow electrical work and street repairs to be carried out.
The area begins just south east of the junction between Corney Place and Portland Place and continues to just north west of its junction with Hunter’s Lane. An area north west of the junction with Hunter’s Lane is included.
It starts on September 19.
