Northern Rail service delayed by incident on Cumbria coastal line

Emergency services were called to an 'incident' on the coastal rail line in Cumbria at about 5pm.

The 3.33pm Northern Rail Lancaster to Carlisle service was running about 20 minutes late after police were called to the train at Askam.

No further details were available.
