What turns us into twits on Twitter and fools on Facebook?

Social media has offered great advances to the world. It has also thrown up more than its fair share of controversies.
Ultimate it comes down to Freedom of speech being sensationalized and taken out of context to make a news story!
Ricky Gervais and the two gentleman your paper have put out of work in the last few weeks were merely speaking their minds or having some harmless banter, using terms of generalisation for what they feel mean silly or daft, get off your high horse you sanctomonious windbags!it is far too easy to offend some people with comments, because it is far too difficult to express the context them. You cannot see the person to see if they really mean it, or if it was just light hearted banter.
British media doesn't help by making a mountain out of a mole hill just to fill some space. Don't take anything to heart and this wouldn't be big news, and internet bullying would be very rare as it would take physical bullying to be a problem.Words can, and often do offend online, but they don't harm you - unless you let them mentally harm you.

Have your say
Is someones post on facebook really worthy of news?
