Two new dental surgeries in Copeland will be officially opened this week.
The Oasis Dental Care surgeries in Whitehaven and Workington have been up and running since summer and Copeland MP Jamie Reed will make the openings on Friday.
Both practices will provide 15,000 new NHS dental places in Copeland as part of a £1.75m investment.
David Tyson, NHS Cumbria’s lead commissioner for dentistry and oral health, said: “I’m really pleased that after investing £2.5m in NHS dental services this year across Cumbria people in Copeland now have two new dental surgeries to access NHS treatment.”
Surgeries also opened in Maryport and Workington earlier this year.
