Mumford & Sons announce Carlisle gig date

Mumford & Sons are to play Carlisle as part of a major autumn tour.

The indie-folk band, who release second album Babel today, will visit the Sands Centre on November 26.

The Tour of Two Halves - so-called because the 14 shows are split into six theatres followed by eight arenas - starts on November 21 in Torquay and ends at The O2 in Dublin on December 16.

Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday.
