Motorsport boss Paul Bird accused of harassing estranged wife

Motorsport boss Paul Bird has appeared in court in Carlisle accused of harassing his estranged wife.
Bird, 45, of Stratheden, Langwathby, near Penrith, pleaded not guilty at Carlisle Magistrates’ Court today to offences said to have occurred between November 11 last year and January 10 this year.
It is alleged that Bird sent text messages of an abusive and harassing nature to his wife Lindsey Ann Bird.
He owns Paul Bird Motorsport.
The case was adjourned until April 16 for trial.
