Motorcyclist hurt in Carlisle road rage incident

A road rage incident in Carlisle left a motorcyclist with injuries.

Police were called to the incident at midday yesterday at the junction of Warwick Road and Victoria Road, next to the Botcherby Community Centre.

A male motorcyclist was injured during the incident, and a roadside bin was damaged.

Police said the incident followed on from an earlier minor collision on Warwick Road, involving a black Honda motorbike and a silver Ford Mondeo car.

Anyone with information should contact detective constable Tom Kirkpatrick on 101.
