Amy Straughn, aged 17, from Penrith, went missing at about midnight on Tuesday last week. She was found at 11.50pm yesterday.

It is not known where she was found.

It was believed she was heading to the Barrow area to see a friend.

Police issued an appeal saying they were concerned for her welfare and urged anyone who had seen her or knew where she was to contact them.
