Men attacked teenager in Cumbrian park

Police are trying to track down a group of men who attacked a teenager in Whitehaven.

The 19-year-old victim, a man from Whitehaven, was in Castle Park between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on February 28 when the assault occurred.

There are no descriptions of the attackers, except that they are all "believed to be above the age of 16".

The victim suffered serious injuries, but not life-threatening.

Witnesses are urged to call police on 101.
