Man’s eye socket broken in Carlisle nightclub attack

A 39-year-old man was knocked unconscious and suffered a fractured eye socket during an attack at a Carlisle nightclub.
The attack happened at 2.45am yesterday in Club Rock, English Gate Plaza, off Botchergate.
Police investigating the incident say the attacker was a stocky man, in his early 20s, with blonde hair and have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on 101.
