Police name man found dead on Cumbrian beach

A man whose body was found on a Cumbrian beach has been named by police.
Officers say the death of Michael Ainsworth, 52, of Sarsfield Road, Workington, is not suspicious.
A member of the public raised the alarm shortly after 4pm yesterday (Tuesday) after spotting Mr Ainsworth's body on the shoreline at Shore Road in Workington.
Paramedics were called but Mr Ainsworth was pronounced dead at the scene.
A police spokesman said: “We do not at this time believe that there are any suspicious circumstances.”
A post mortem will be carried out in an attempt to establish the cause of death.
