Man made threat to post photo of naked ex-wife on net, court told

A man has denied threatening to put a naked picture of his ex-wife on the internet.

Paul David Benson, 36, pleaded not guilty to harassment in breach of a restraining order.

Benson, of Harringdale Road, High Harrington, Workington, has been charged with placing a photo of Kerry Benson on Facebook in a green bikini and the comment “If I get 100 likes you get to see this sexy mama naked”.

He was granted unconditional bail until his trial on March 28 at West Cumbria Magistrates’ Court in Workington.

The restraining order against him had been imposed on October 18 of last year.
