Man had drugs at Cumbrian music festivals, court told

A festival-goer was given a community order after being found with drugs at Solfest.
Sean Michael Nealons admitted having cannabis while at the festival and to possessing amphetamine and cannabis in Kendal on August 25.
Carlisle magistrates court heard how officers conducted searches at the festival, over the weekend of August 23, and his home in Kendal was later searched when a grinder and other drug equipment was found.
The court heard how his arrest and time in the cells had been a “short of therapy” for him, given the shock he experienced.
Nealons, of Caroline Street, Kendal, was given a one year community order with supervision and ordered to pay £85 court costs. He was also told to attend a six month drug rehabilitation course.
