Man dies in Lake District fall

A man has died after falling from a gully in Ennerdale.
The 35-year-old, from Lancashire, was with three friends when he fell at Walker's Gully on Pillar Rock at about 2pm yesterday.
Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team, an air ambulance and an RAF Sea King helicopter were called to the scene.
A police spokesman said there were no suspicious circumstances.
