Man and woman attacked at Carlisle house party

A man and woman were attacked at a house party in Carlisle

Police said the woman, 24, was taken to Carlisle’s Cumberland Infirmary following the assault at Hartington Place, off the city’s Warwick Road.

Officers added both she and the man, 22, suffered minor injuries.

Two suspects, both male, fled the scene of the assault.
