A man was injured after being attacked from behind by three men while he was out walking his dog.

The 29-year-old victim was walking along Yeathouse Road in Frizington at around 8.20pm yesterday.

Police say he was approached by three unknown men and then grabbed from behind and assaulted.

The victim suffered grazes to his face and a suspected broken wrist.

One of the attackers is described as white, aged between 17 and 19, about 6 feet tall, clean shaven with blond hair.

He was said to be wearing a navy hoodie with black pants, a black New York style cap with white ‘NY’ writing on the front.

Police are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact PC Jonathan Mann on 101.
