Main north Cumbrian road clear after crash

A two vehicle crash forced the closure of a main road in north Cumbria.

The A595 was blocked between Thursby roundabout and the B5305 at Westward following the collision, which happened at about 5.45pm.

A police spokeswoman confirmed that the crash had caused traffic disruption but said no-one was injured in the incident.
