A main road in north Cumbria has reopened following a crash involving a tractor and a motorbike.
The A596 was closed in both directions between Station Road and the Prospect junction and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
Drivers were urged to use the A595 following the accident, which happened at 4pm.
The tractor was being driven by a 31-year-old man and the motorcycle by a 47-year-old man, who was treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries.
The road re-opened after 5pm.
