Madness gig at Carlisle Racecourse cancelled
Last updated at 14:05, Friday, 06 July 2012
Tonight's concert by Madness at Carlisle Racecourse has been cancelled.
The racing due to take place earlier in the evening is also off.
The band - famous for hits such as Baggy Trousers, House of Fun and One Step Beyond - was due to perform at the Stobart Summer Festival.
The recent torrential rain is behind the decision to scrap the event for which 7,500 tickets had been sold.
Full refunds will automatically be given. Anyone who has paid cash for tickets should return them to the racecourse to receive a refund.

Have your say
In complete agreement with J, brilliant night in Carlisle last night, everywhere was bouncing! Still gutted about missing Madness though.
