A teenager was left with a fractured hand after an assault in Silloth.
Police are appealing to parents to help prevent such incidents following a spate of incidents involving youths in the town.
The latest happened at 8.30pm on May 28 at the Green, near to the Paramount amusements arcade. Police said two members of a large group of youths were involved in the assault.
The victim suffered a fractured hand after a bicycle was deliberately rammed into him.
He has since required hospital treatment.
Cumbria Police said they are receiving "significant" numbers of calls relating to youths in Silloth. A spokeswoman added: "Parents are asked to take an active interest in the whereabouts of their child."
Witnesses are urged to contact officers on 101.
