PEOPLE have a month to submit their views on how Cumbria Police can improve its operation.

Cumbria Constabulary has launched its annual public consultation survey.

It offers people an opportunity to let the force and its leaders know what is important to them and help them improve the service provided.

Taking only 10 minutes to complete, the public consultation survey is available online at www.cumbria.police.uk.

The survey closes on August 31.

Cumbria's Chief Constable Jerry Graham said: "Your response will inform future policing in the county. This will help us to improve and to continue to provide the best policing service we can afford."

Police and Crime Commissioner Peter McCall said: "It is really important that as many people as possible complete this survey so that we can get a better understanding of what is important."
