A public meeting about the future of hospital services in west Cumbria is being moved to a new venue.
West Cumberland hospital campaigners have been urging local people to attend the meeting, to let bosses know how important the hospital and its services are to the community.
It follows options put forward by the Success Regime - the body set up to transform the struggling local NHS - which include moving more services from Whitehaven to Carlisle.
Those under threat include consultant-led maternity, children's ward, stroke services and urgent care.
The meeting was due to be held at Whitehaven Civic Hall tomorrow night, but there has been a last minute change of venue.
A Success Regime spokeswoman said: "Due to the local Police and Crime Commissioner election taking place later this week we have had to move the venue for the NHS Success Regime public engagement meeting in Whitehaven this Wednesday evening."
The meeting will now be held at the United Reformed Church, James Street. It starts at 7pm.
