Two people had to be cut free by firefighters following a crash in west Cumbria.
Engines from Seascale and Millom fire stations were called to the scene on the A595 at Birkby Ravenglass shortly before 5pm yesterday.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said that the crews used cutting equipment to free two people from the vehicles involved and that the incident was handed over to the North West Ambulance Service.
The crews were at the scene for around an hour.
