THREE men have denied an aggravated burglary charge following an alleged incident in Penrith.
Mark Rowlandson, 29, Andrew Rowlandson, 27, and Kurtis Beech, 30, appeared in the dock together at Carlisle Crown Court today.
During a brief hearing before Judge Tony Lancaster, they each entered not guilty pleas to an allegation of aggravated burglary.
The three defendants also each denied an alleged assault on Lauren Davidson. In addition, Mark Rowlandson and Beech pleaded not guilty to assaulting Leon Jeffries, causing him actual bodily harm.
Mark Rowlandson, of Eamont Mews, Andrew Rowlandson, of Castle Terrace, both Penrith; and Beech, of Summerville Road, Salford, are due to go on trial at the crown court in July.
In the meantime all three men were remanded in custody by Judge Lancaster.
