Police tape
Traffic lights are back in operation at the junction between Dalston Road and Junction Street in Carlisle.
Earlier this morning, lights affecting drivers approaching the junction from all three directions were not working, meaning that cars had to slow down.
A spokesman for Cumbria police said that the issue had been reported and was being dealt with by the county council's highways team.
As of 11.40am, the lights were back in operation.
