Drivers are being warned to expect delays as an abnormal load works its way through north Cumbria today.
Police say they will be escorting a slow-moving load on the northern edge of Carlisle - from the Brampton roundabout, on the A69, towards Gretna.
At about 12pm, the load will leave the Brampton roundabout, heading towards Gretna via the A689 and joining the M6 north at junction 44, Kingstown.
Delays are expected until about 1pm.
