Two teenagers arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a west Cumbrian Post Office, have been charged.
Copeland Police Twitter account has this morning confirmed that the pair, aged 17 and 19, are due to appear before magistrates this morning.
Reece Kirk, 19, of Murrayfield Terrace, Ravenglass, and a 17-year-old male from the Seascale area have been charged with robbery.
Their arrests followed an armed robbery at the Post Office on Main Street, Ravenglass, at 10.20am yesterday.
A staff member was threatened by two males carrying carving knives, who then fled with an undisclosed sum of money.
The teenagers are due to appear at Carlisle Magistrates’ Court later today.
