Police tape used to cordon off an incident
The road between Carlisle and Dalston has been cleared following an earlier collision.
The crash at about 7.55am at Cummersdale, near Carlisle, involved a Ford Ranger car and a Mercedes Benz van driven by a 32-year-old man.
It happened at the junction of Peter Lane and the B5299 towards Dalston and traffic was affected between Dalston and Carlisle.
There are not thought to be any serious injuries.
