A resident was treated for smoke inhalation following a house fire in Silloth.
It happened at a home in Latrigg Street just before 7.26pm on Wednesday.
The fire was in the kitchen of the property.
Two fire engines, one from Aspatria and one from Silloth, attended.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used cutting equipment, a thermal imaging camera and one hose reel jet to control and extinguish the fire.
One person was treated for slight smoke inhalation. Crews were at the scene for about an hour.
