A pop band is heading to one of north Cumbria's largest schools to teach pupils about the dangers of drugs and peer pressure.

Upcoming group White Eskimo will be at William Howard School on Monday.

They will first work with 11 and 12-year-olds in year seven before leading a session with 14 and 15-year-olds in year 10 at the Brampton secondary school.

They are one of two acts performing in four local schools next Monday and Tuesday as part of a drug education and life skills tour.

White Eskimo will be performing and delivering anti-drug and peer pressure messages supporting the scheme developed by charity DARE.

White Eskimo have supported McBusted on tour.

One of the group's founding members was Harry Styles from One Direction.

Band members are from across the north of England.

The scheme has already toured more than 3,400 schools around the UK and Ireland.
