Mint, on Botchergate, Carlisle
A man was left needing stitches after being attacked in a Carlisle nightclub.
The 31-year-old was assaulted at around 2.20am on Monday while in the Mint nightclub in Botchergate.
As a result of the attack the man sustained head injuries.
Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for witnesses to get in touch with them on 101.
Mint is one of the newest additions to the city's nightlife scene following its opening in the former Mood building last July.
