Five people have been arrested on suspicion of affray after an incident in Workington.
A 25-year-old man was taken to the West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven, following the affray at Findlay Place. His injuries were described as not life-threatening.
Police were called at the scene at 3.30pm yesterday, where an undefined number of people were involved in the incident.
Three women aged 26,28 and 49 and a 25-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of affray.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and criminal damage.
They are all due to answer bail on June 10.
Police are appealing for witnesses to call them on 101.
