Police hunt Carlisle burglars who fled with jewellery
Detectives are hunting burglars who broke into a Carlisle home, and stole a number of items of jewellery.
The burglary took place at the Kingstown Road property between midday and 9.20pm on Saturday.
A number of items were stolen including a gold wedding band, a gold engagement ring with an oval Sapphire with diamonds around, a gold rope necklace, a silver bracelet watch with a white face, a black digital camera and a number of ladies handbags.
Police are looking for any witnesses to the incident, which took place around the junction of Lowry Hill.
