Traders in Carlisle's market hall are hoping to raise more than £1,000 for a local charity.
The city centre venue is holding its third annual Market in Pink event, with some stallholders even having a "bad hair day".
They are raising money for the Jigsaw children's hospice and members of the public have been snapping up raffle tickets.
"We raised about £500 last year, but we're looking to break the £1,000 mark this time," said centre manager Helen Wylie.
"Our traders each give £10 of vouchers that are then raffled off, or they donate raffle prizes instead. It's just a bit of fun.
"It's part of Love Your Local Market Fortnight and it's just about encouraging as many people as possible to come into the market.
"Our traders all wear pink and we've got facepainting going on for the kids as well. It's a great day."
