A drugs warning has been issued after a pharmacy was targeted by raiders early this morning in north Cumbria.
Police are investigating a burglary at Wells Pharmacy on South End, Wigton.
It happened in the early hours, at around 1.50am.
It is believed that a quantity of prescribed drugs have been stolen.
A statement issued by Cumbria Constabulary states: "Police would advise anyone being offered items not to take them due to the potential risks involved."
Police are appealing for any witnesses that may have been in the area at the time or who may have information in relation to the stolen medication.
