A 17-year-old was taken to hospital following a serious crash on a busy Cumbrian road.
He was driving a motorbike which was involved in a collision with a Mitsubishi pick-up truck at the junction of the A596 and Station Road, at Wigton, yesterday evening.
The teenager was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
Police said his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening and that the driver of the pick-up was uninjured.
The road was closed for five hours while collision investigation work was carried out.
Police are appealing for witnesses of the crash, which happened about 6pm, or anyone else with information to contact PC Hill on 101.
