A top flight football agent has appeared in court charged with causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving on the M6.
Peter Morrison, 36, entered no plea when he appeared before magistrates sitting in Carlisle this morning.
The defendant of The Warke, Worsley, Manchester, is charged with causing the death of Adam Gibb, from Penrith, and seriously injuring his colleague Paul Holroyd through dangerous driving.
He was driving along the M6 southbound near Tebay at the time of the crash, on February 21 last year.
Morrison works with the James Grant Group, which represents senior Manchester United players Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Sam Johnstone and Dean Henderson.
The case was sent to Carlisle Crown Court, when Morrison will appear on Monday, April 10.
