A driver had to be freed from his car after a crash on a busy Cumbrian road.
Firefighters from Carlisle's east and west fire stations and a crew from Brampton were called out to the A689, at Ruleholme, between Brampton and Carlisle, at about 6.35pm yesterday.
A blue Kia Rio car crashed off the road, landing on its roof in a field.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue said: "One car had left the road and gone into the field.
"The driver was released by fire service personnel and is in the care of the ambulance service."
The man was the only person in the car.
A Cumbria Police spokeswoman said the driver was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary with what are believed to be minor injuries.
