A MAN has been charged following an alleged stabbing in Whitehaven.
It happened at the Three Tuns pub, Duke Street, on Saturday night.
Tyrone Glaister, 51, of Duke Street, Whitehaven, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent, attempted GBH with intent and possessing a bladed article in a public place.
He was due to appear at West Cumbria Magistrate’s Court this morning.
The male victim was taken to hospital. He was today described by police as being in a serious but stable condition.
