A man and woman have appeared in court charged with outraging public decency.
Clayton Jones Lee, 33 and Mary Lonsdale Robertson, 38, stood side by side during the brief hearing at Carlisle Crown Court today.
They pleaded not guilty to the allegation of outraging public decency by engaging in sexual activity.
The charge relates to an alleged incident at Vulcan Park in Workington on May 28.
Lee, of Ennerdale Road, Cleator Moor and Robertson, of Church Road, Harrington, Workington, are due to go on trial at the crown court in the week of October 31.
Both were remanded on unconditional bail by Judge Peter Davies.
