A Penrith man has admitted possessing two hammers during a violent incident in the town.
Zane Aaron Tinkler, 24, pleaded guilty to two crimes when he appeared at Carlisle Crown Court.
These were charges of affray and threatening another with an offensive weapon.
Both offences were said to have occurred at Scotland Road in Penrith on June 23.
Judge Peter Davies asked for background information to be prepared on Tinkler by the probation service.
Judge Davies adjourned the case until September 5. Tinkler, of Stricklandgate, Penrith, is due to be sentenced at the crown court on that date.
In the meantime he was released on bail.
