Two men are facing immediate jail terms after cocaine was found in a vehicle on the M6.
About £10,000 worth of the class A drug was seized by police from the Volkswagen Passat near Crooklands on March 11.
At Carlisle Crown Court today, the Volkswagen's occupants, David Williams, 45, and Andrew Jones, 27, each admitted possessing cocaine with intent to supply.
Lawyers representing each man appealed for Judge Peter Davies to adjourn the case. This, they stated, would allow Williams and Jones to put their respective domestic "houses in order" before starting "inevitable" prison sentences.
Judge Davies agreed to the adjournment and remanded both men on conditional bail.
Williams and Jones, both of Chirk, North Wales, will be sentenced on August 12.
