A clothes retailer says it is looking forward to "a great future" after opening a new store in south-west Scotland.
Bench, which makes clothes for men, women and children, opened its store at the Gretna Gateway Outlet Village last month.
Mark Noyce, Bench UK's head of retail, said: "We’re very pleased with the store opening and of the new team that have been appointed.
"We’re confident of a great future in a very well managed centre that offers a great level of support.
"We’re looking to play a key part in the centre’s success during 2017."
Pizza Express also opened a restaurant at Gretna Gateway in January and Bench's arrival has also been welcomed by centre manager Scott Wells.
He said: "Since the opening last week, Bench has been extremely busy with shoppers, old and new, enjoying its impressive range of clothing for the whole family, so we are sure it is going to be a huge success with people from in and around the area as well as those travelling further afield.
"We would like to wish the Bench team the best of luck at Gretna Gateway."
