West Cumbria Magistrates' Court, Workington
A former scout leader has appeared in court charged with numerous child sex offences.
Norman Thompson, 65, from Wigton, has been charged with 27 offences that took place in the Aspatria / Silloth area during the 1980s.
He also faces charges relating to four indecent images.
Thompson appeared before West Cumbria Magistrates' Court, in Workington today.
He did not enter a plea and was committed to Carlisle Crown Court on July 18.
