A woman had to be rescued from a cherry picker in Wigton.
The woman, believed to be about 30, had gained unauthorised access to the vehicle. She managed to operate the control and elevate the platform to a significant height, but then could not get back down again.
Fire crews from Wigton and Carlisle, along with the area's aerial ladder platform, were all called to the scene last night.
Firefighters were able to lower the platform and rescue her.
