A CUMBRIAN man jailed for his role in a massive drugs supply plot has had his sentence almost halved.

Jordan Azli Dominic Graham, 29, received a four-year prison sentence last month for his role in a conspiracy which was smashed by police last year.

Almost £1 million worth of cocaine, cannabis and MCat was seized by officers who rounded up 18 criminals.

Each admitted respective roles in the illegal enterprise - which was run from prison. Sentences totalling more than 100 years were handed down by Judge Barbara Forrester at Carlisle Crown Court last month.

Graham, of Church Street, Barrow, was given four years in prison for a class B cannabis supply crime. He was said to have been part of a "dealership network" around his home town.

However, Graham's sentence has been reduced after the judge reconsidered the punishment.

Judge Forrester said during a hearing today she had reached the conclusion that Graham's term was too harsh. This was because his crime involved a lower class drug than most of his co-conspirators.

As a result, Graham's sentence has been lowered to two years and four months
