Police and firefighters were called after a coach carrying around 50 children crashed in Cumbria early this morning.
It happened on the A5086 south of Cockermouth. Firefighters from Whitehaven were called to the scene at 1.55am.
Inspector Chris Wright, from Cumbria police, said that the youngsters, who are 11 years old, were members of Wath Brow rugby club and had been returning to Wath Brow from a day trip.
He said: "The crash happened near Lamplugh, about four miles south of Cockermouth. There were around 50 children on board who were checked over by paramedics but none of them were injured.
"The driver of the bus was injured and may have suffered a fractured arm.
"It looks like the bus might have clipped a bridge and investigations are ongoing."
