Delays for drivers expected in north Cumbria
MOTORISTS are being warned that they could face delays due to an abnormal load being transported through north Cumbria.
Police are escorting a slow moving load today from the A69 to the M6 north, heading to Scotland.
The route is from the A69 at the Blenkinsopp layby to Brampton before the load heads along the A689, passing Carlisle's airport.
It will join the M6 northbound at junction 44, Carlisle North, and head to junction 45 at Gretna.
