Crash closes part of M6 in north Cumbria
PART of the motorway in north Cumbria is currently closed following an accident.
Police say that one lane of the southbound M6 between Gretna and Carlisle is shut due to an accident.
The accident has happened between junction 45 A74(M) at Gretna and junction 44 at the northern edge of Carlisle.
No further details have been released.
