A group of youngsters on a Duke of Edinburgh expedition were forced to call Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team after they got lost.
The team was called out on Easter Sunday after the four teenagers, who were doing their gold expedition, reported they were lost somewhere between Ennerdale and Buttermere.
The team established they were near Red Pike using a mobile phone locator tool and an off-duty team member, who was out running, came across them as they were talking to the team. He walked them to Syke Farm campsite to meet with their assessor, helped by two men camping in Bleaberry Combe.
